Ukrainians flee from an occupied region and open a restaurant, SHO, located in Bigauņciems, Latvia! Many of their staff members have fled their country for the second time in the past eight years. "I am moving for the second time already. They occupied Horlivka in 2014, and I moved to Severodonetsk. I had to flee again because now they occupied Severodonetsk", explains the restaurant SHO administrator. Of course, the most popular dishes in this restaurant are traditional Ukrainian recipes. Unequivocally, they are Borscht, Chicken Kyiv, and Kyiv Cake. There are also plenty of good meat dishes and snacks. The staff desire to sustain their living and reduce dependency on others: "Latvia is the place we'd like to settle down. We'd want our place to live and raise our children." The majority of their nine-employee team start their lives over as if from a blank page. "Only our Chef works in his professional field. For example, an attorney makes our yummy desserts." The restaurant staff is hopeful that everything will go well in Latvia and that they'll be able to succeed and stay in Bigauņciems, Latvia for the years to come.

The restaurant stretches across two floors, with plenty of space in various halls on the first floor and a small hall on the second, hosting up to 100 visitors at a time.
